The Talisman Agreement

  • Is a legal Agreement between four health care corporations: Grey Bruce Health Services, South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Hanover & District Hospital, and the Grey-Bruce Community Care Access Centre
  • Grey Bruce Huron Perth District Health Council chairs the Network and provides logistical support
  • The Agreement binds the Corporations to collectively produce and implement plans and strategies designed to improve health services delivery
  • The Agreement creates a Contract Implementation Committee (CIC) to oversee the Agreement on behalf of the Corporations
  • The CIC is a Network oversight committee
  • The required plans and strategies are laid out in a series of 7 Schedules (“Deliverables”) each with a lead CEO and a Steering Committee

    Schedule 2 – Common Physician Credentialling
    Schedule 3 – Common Health Professional Recruitment Strategy
    Schedule 4 – Common Health Information System
    Schedule 5 – Shared Administrative and Clinical Support Services
    Schedule 6 – Standardized Approaches to Quality Health Care Delivery
    Schedule 7 – Repatriation of Patients to Grey Bruce
